Dr. Sarah Chen is a biostatistician and clinical trial methodologist. Over 28 years she has designed more than 60 pivotal trials across oncology, cardiology, and rare disease, served two terms on the FDA's Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee, and led biostatistics at Regenex Therapeutics through three successful NDAs. She is currently Professor of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, holds a Ph.D. in biostatistics from Harvard, and has co-authored the widely used textbook Adaptive Designs in Confirmatory Trials (Springer, 3rd ed., 2023). She is 61 and lives in Baltimore.

Founder of Halloran Forensic Engineering (Denver), he has been retained on more than 400 matters, including three high-profile parking-garage collapse investigations. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue and an M.S. in structural engineering from Illinois, is a Fellow of ASCE, and served on the ACI 318 subcommittee for six years. He is 64 and splits time between Denver and a small farm in western Colorado.
